WEEK 6 @ USYD MTEACH
This week we dove into the world of drum making and beats. Both Tech and Extension focused on this topic. In Tech we started of by experimenting with the iO-808
We were asked to try and figure out the features of it and how to use it. I managed to figure out that it is a looping feature that can have 3 different drum beats programmed into it and they can all have a variation system in place to change it up. The capital letters within the spelling of the type of drum e.i. hand ClaP represents what rhythm track on the dial on the left hand side e.g. hand ClaP = CP etc. I found this quite confusing at first but after managing to figure that out it was really easy to use.
