ABCDEFU - Gayle

This epic rock song is all about how you perform it! You can perform this as the grunge rock song it is OR you could take the lyrics and strip it back to get into the emotions of the song... the possibilities are endless!

Live Version Inspiration

This version is from Gayle's first TV appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show. In this performance, you can clearly hear guitar, piano, drums and vocals. This performance is really good at showing the changes in sections and how you can take a repeated chord pattern and groove and add to it using texture and dynamics to not only build the song but tell a story.

Chart

This chart is a basic lead sheet and it shows the Bass rhythm, tempo, structure, and chords. Think of it as your blueprint for your song!

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR MASTERING...

- Notice how in the performance a lot of space is left during the verses by the use of Powerchords?

- Half-time and Full time feels

- With this song slowly build and tell the story in the lyrics
